公園に入るとすぐ目に飛び込んでくるのが、土の木の葉っぱと目がモチーフの大きな門。なんと昭和天皇の即位50周年を記念して作られたんだとか！歴史を感じますね。
池とフランス風ベンチでのんびり
「沈床池（ちんしょういけ）」という名前の池は、地面よりちょっと低いところにある不思議な作り。周りにはフランス風のベンチが並んでて、読書したりおしゃべりしたり、リラックスするのに最高の場所です！

昭和3年に建てられた宇都宮商工会議所の玄関が復元されてるんです。装飾がアメリカの建築家フランクロイドライトの影響を受けてるとかで、建築好きにはたまらないスポット！
